To-do list once we arrive in Okinawa

I'm a list person. I make lists about everything you can possibly imagine. So of course, when it comes to our move to Okinawa, I have a million different lists. One of our lists is the main things we need to do once we arrive on the island. A lot goes into creating a life in a new country. So here it is:

It seems like there is so much to do before we are settled. I am sure I am even forgetting some things or we will find out we need to do other things once we arrive. Fortunately, a lot of these things are very exciting and will be an adventure. I know it will take time before we feel completely settled in. It probably won't be until we have found a place, have all of our stuff moved in and unpacked, and have lived there for a bit. I just keep repeating to myself, "this is an amazing adventure."

We have really appreciated everyone's support as we have prepared to leave. It will be so hard to say goodbye to the US and not know when we are going to see everyone next. Just know we are thankful for you in our lives and we are thinking about you even though we will be across the world. You can always contact us through email and read the blog for updates, but if you would like to know our address or our new numbers, please message us.

I leave you with some inspiration. Take opportunies. Don't be afraid to try something new. Get out of your comfort zone. See the world.

Until Next Time,

  2. Hello my name is Kelsey, and I am a list addict!! I make lists all day long, on my phone, random pieces of paper, anything. Now if I could just merge all of those or even find them I could actually get something crossed off :) haha

    1. I have a special book for all of my lists, and yet somehow I still manage to make lists all over the place. Occasionally I make lists of things I have done and cross them off to feel like I have accomplished something. Oops.

    1. Sometimes I wonder if lists are helping or stressing me out more, since you can actually see in front of you the ridiculous amount of things you have to do. Either way, I will always make them.

  4. GREAT list, especially for Oki. It really is easy once you're there, just a new adventure. I HIGHLY reccommend checking out the local grocery stores, I fell in love with the one we had a few blocks away, they have the best stuff!
