To-do list once we arrive in Okinawa

I'm a list person. I make lists about everything you can possibly imagine. So of course, when it comes to our move to Okinawa, I have a million different lists. One of our lists is the main things we need to do once we arrive on the island. A lot goes into creating a life in a new country. So here it is:

It seems like there is so much to do before we are settled. I am sure I am even forgetting some things or we will find out we need to do other things once we arrive. Fortunately, a lot of these things are very exciting and will be an adventure. I know it will take time before we feel completely settled in. It probably won't be until we have found a place, have all of our stuff moved in and unpacked, and have lived there for a bit. I just keep repeating to myself, "this is an amazing adventure."

We have really appreciated everyone's support as we have prepared to leave. It will be so hard to say goodbye to the US and not know when we are going to see everyone next. Just know we are thankful for you in our lives and we are thinking about you even though we will be across the world.
