How To Keep Yourself Entertained During a Typhoon

If you stopped by the blog on Friday, you saw that we were preparing for a typhoon around these parts.  I was also preparing for a very boring weekend stuck indoors. Though parts were boring, it ended up being a pretty good weekend.

So how exactly do you go about entertaining yourself during a typhoon when you can't leave the house??

Watch the typhoon roll in

Eat an entire bag of baked ruffles

Facetime your besties across the world

Make quesadillas and famous egg sandwiches

Make and eat ridiculous amounts of pumpkin chocolate chip bread

read

Stare aimlessly out of the window

Snuggle

Snuggle some more

Buy things you can't live without don't need from Tory Burch

Lust over everything at Target

Blog. Or Just stare at the screen

Catch up on all of your shows

Watch the Cowboys a la Rewind. You do whatcha gotta do for your team

Get out of your yoga pants and leave the house as soon as it's safe

Look for washed up shells

Take selfies in the wind

go eat ramen-and lots of it

Go shopping and drive around when you are supposed to stay indoors
(just kidding, don't do that)

Despite the typhoon(s), it was an enjoyable weekend. It was nice to just sit and relax with the hubs and enjoy the simple things. Thankfully, the typhoons didn't do too much damage. We are still on the tail end of the second one, so we aren't exactly in the clear. We are definitely ready to be done with these typhoons and to be able to get out and explore!

  7. Actually, a day or two in bed, snuggling, eating tasty snacks, and watching movies, and listening to the rain seems kind of like an ideal weekend!

  12. Snuggling, Facetime, reading, and NetFlix are my lifesavers during rainstorms, which are frequent (I live in FL... it rains every other 4 seconds). Stopping by from the GFC Collective, and I'd love for you to drop by my blog if you get the chance. Have a great week!

  15. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a typhoon to me! That's pretty much how I want to be spending this cold and dreary day here on the boat. Except I don't have my Hunters with me and I already miss them. :) Glad you stayed safe!

  19. I remember doing lots of those things (minus the snuggling as I was alone) during several Typhoons I rode out in Viet Nam. Fun times, especially with lots of rain. We would often lose power so I would read by candle light:) It looks like you guys had fun!

Stopping by from The Blogger's Digest! I'm now following on Bloglovin:)
